Full Day at Nacole Gardens
Nacole is a private holding of 100 acres of indigenous trees and pristine bush in Pemba Bay that shelters numerous bird, small mammal and insect species. Streams running through the property attract terrapins and crabs, the bay-side white sand beach is screened by mangrove trees. Enjoy a walk in this garden and see spectacular baobabs, birdlife and mangroves with drinks at sunset on a secluded beach. If you would like to spend the full day there, pack a picnic, towels, costumes and sun block or take your own meat to braai on the BBQ. Drinks are available to buy there. R208 pp
Mombasa City Tour
Visit the Akamba Handicraft Centre where you may buy souvenirs direct from the traditional Akamba wood carvers. After this you proceed to the huge and famous Tusks over Moi Avenue erected in 1952. The next stop is Fort Jesus to enjoy a short walk through the Old Town. This ancient and impressive maze of architectural wonder will bring you to the Old Dhow Harbour , which is still occasionally used by Dhows from Arabia and India . To end the tour you visit the Mombasa Market well known for its spices and bargains. R242 pp

Continue to Kaloleni to visit the local market and thereafter drive to Kenya Marine land on the North coast, which offers an opportunity to observe numerous species of tropical marine life in giant aquariums. Evening Tamarind Dhow
There is only one place in the whole world which can offer as a backdrop the glittering stars of the African skies above the twinkling lights of Mombasa ’s Old port - The Tamarind Dhow.
