Nungwi Village beach resort – 3 Star

This is a neat hotel situated just outside the Nungwi village. The place is very tranquil and has a good beach for just lying and relaxing. The rooms are comfortable, all built on the beach in double story blocks. We quite liked the place as the staff were very friendly and efficient. They have a large variety of alternative facilities like visiting the dhow building "plant" and bicycle rides around Nungwi. The restaurant is situated almost on the beach and makes a good meal combined with one of their great cocktails. It is a quiet hotel where you can come and really relax without being bothered. You are in close proximity to Paradise Beach where you will possibly the best and cheapest dive school on the island.
 
The rooms
The rooms can be divided into 2 categories: Standard,  and Premier. The standard rooms are situated in the courtyard, and are comfortable and inexpensive. The Premier rooms are situated on the beach front and have air conditioning. All rooms have en-suite facilities and also furnished in Zanzibar style. They are comfortable and well maintained.
