La Pirogue Resort
LOCATION: La Pirogue Hotel is on the Leeward west coast of Mauritius, near to the commercial centres of Port Louis and Curepipe. It is also close to the Marlin Fishing clubs at Black River. It is approximately 50 minutes from Mauritius' National Airport.
ROOMS: La Pirogue Hotel is suitable for younger guests or families. La Pirogue Hotel is a value for money hotel consisting of 180 Standard Rooms, 20 Standard Communicating and 46 Superior Rooms. 2 Royal Suites. The rooms are contained in thatched cottages within lawns and areas of tropical shrubs. All rooms are air conditioned and have twin or double beds with private bath, toilet and separate shower, telephone, colour TV, radio, mini bar and terrace. All rooms have 24 hour room service.
FACILITIES:
There are three restaurants and a swimming pool with a snack service. There are 4 bars, including the pool bar which is the focus of night life in the hotel. Other facilities available: films, videos and games, shops, hairdressing salon, laundry, casino and a conference room.
ENTERTAINMENT:
Resident band with cabaret, folklore and theme nights. The Casino is open every night.
Free Sports: Include Tennis, Volley Ball, Bocciball, Table Tennis, Football and Water Polo. Aquatic sports include Water Skiing, Laser Sailing, Pedaloes, Kayaks, Glass-Bottom Boats, Snorkelling, Wind Surfing.
