Kuramathi Cottages & Spa,

the second resort located in the middle of Kuramathi island is a health-oriented honeymoon destination. On arrival at the reception in Kuramathi Village, you are taken by minibus to a heavily vegetated and secluded resort, scented by the aroma of frangipani, hibiscus and other flora and fauna indigenous to the Maldives archipelago.

Kuramathi Cottage and Spa is an intimate honeymooners resort situated on the wooded Kuramathi islands known for its powdery white sand and turquoise lagoon. A tropical paradise island in a blue sea, with waving palms and cascades of beautiful exotic flowers. Kuramathi Island is a paradise for people looking for peace and tranquility.

Beach Bungalows are situated just a few steps from the beach, in full view of the azure lagoon. It has a sitting area and are sited in the gardens, a few metres from the beach.

The island's sports center comes with a swimming pool, floodlit tennis court, Gymnasium, Jacuzzi and Sauna. The resort also has a water sports center, which facilitates windsurfing, sailing, catamaran sailing, canoeing, water skiing, and banana riding.

La Laguna Grill situated at the very edge of the beach overlooking the huge lagoon of Kuramathi is a very popular place. It's the perfect place to enjoy that special occasion by candlelight. At La Laguna Grill, guests are offered an excellent a la carte menu including prime cuts of meat, chicken and seafood that is prepared in front you by the grill. The speciality is the sizzling steak.

At the Kuramathi Spa, you can get a wide range of relaxation treatments in both European and Eastern tradition. Separated into open-air sections for women and men, the spa has a sauna, steam room, cold plunge pool, Jacuzzi and showers.

Kuramathi Cottage & Spa is one of the largest island resorts of Maldives. The resort is over one km in length-and the three discreet locations each with its own unique character and charm. Distance from airport 35 miles. One has to either take a Boat Transfer that would take 90 minutes to reach the resort or a Seaplane Transfer which would take 15 minutes.
